Yesterday I was at Target and saw The Secret Garden. I decided to buy it. I started watching and I was immeditely upset. It doesnt follow the book barely at all. Her parents die differently, she finds the key in her aunts bedroom like the first or second day she is there compared to finding it outside. I felt like she found the garden so quickly compared to the book. I recommend reading the book before watching the movie. They leave out so many great things that are present in the book.
